The new line will be engineered and built in the United States and will be known as Crown RDB CNC benders. The CNC benders will be available in 26 models in sizes ranging from 10 mm to 150 mm and will include special purpose benders such as hairpin and serpentine benders. A veteran in the industry, Crown has been building a variety of bending machines since 1978.The new Crown RDB CNC rotary benders provide more capability and flexibility for difficult tube geometries. The benders handle up to 4 radii and tube diameters without the need to change tools. Featuring patented true bi-directional capability, the new line bends shapes which were formerly possible only on dedicated or multiple machines. They offer the most powerful, "plain English and software, to provide virtually limitless machine control options.,Crown RDB rotary draw bending machines are available in 26 models with sizes ranging from 10 to 150 mm. They include purpose-specific benders such as hairpin and serpentine benders.The data sheet contains standard and optional features as well as photographs of the CNC benders. The Patriot CNC benders described in the literature feature programmable pressure die boost and programmable collet boost forming 1d bends on a thin wall tube. They provide vertical clamping on a rectangular structural shape. Additional features include kit-of-parts manufacture, open jaw collet, recapture, rising clamp, spring back compensation and digital scales for quick tool setting.
